MEET OUR PASTOR & HIS FAMILY
Pastor Dennis was born in Cavite City, Philippines and he migrated to the U.S. at the age of fifteen in 1981. He lived in Philadelphia, PA before moving to San Diego in 1982. He was about nineteen years old when he committed his life to Jesus Christ at Glad Tidings Church (San Diego) under the ministry of Rev. Emiliano and Elizabeth Guevara.
Pastor Dennis’ call to be a pastor came in 1986. He enrolled at Southern California College (Vanguard University of Southern California, Costa Mesa) in the Spring of 1987 and graduated in May of 1990 with a B.A. degree in Religion emphasizing in Pastoral Ministry. He was elected as the pastor of Blessed Hope AG in Long Beach, CA in 1992 and served the church for sixteen years. He started his ministerial credential with the Assemblies of God as a Licensed Minister in 1992 and was Ordained in 1996.
In October of 1992 he met his wife, Emily, in Carson, CA. They dated for more than a year before getting married in June of 1994. He served as the Filipino-American National Fellowship President and Filipino-American National Youth Director with the U.S. Assemblies of God.
Pastor Dennis is committed to promoting and developing a deeper relationship with God within the Body of Christ. He is very passionate in mentoring young leaders especially those who are called to serve in the ministry. He strongly believes that a life completely given to God will find no regrets until the end.
He enjoys traveling to different places with his wife and their five children; Jeremiah, Isaiah, Isaac, Elannah, and Kairah.
Pastor Dennis Geronimo became the pastor of NCCA on January 1st, 2022.
